The Brilliance of Resilience: Beating Burnout On Our
Most Challenging Projects

The burnout crisis is real, and the numbers are staggering. 23% of employees are chronically burned out, and 47% more are headed in that direction. So what keeps team members functioning when work and life get overwhelming? Answer: Strong leaders that embrace growth and learning in the face of challenge, and cultivate Resilience Superheroes! Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficulties. It’s foundational to embracing growth and beating burnout in the face of challenge.

This session teaches key skills to create psychologically safe spaces that support resilience, including: - Choosing curiosity over judgment - Coaching instead of “fixing” - Encouraging compassionate self-talk - Crushing the stigma around admitting life is overwhelming.

Learning Objectives
1. Explore and learn from personal relationships with challenge, resilience, and growth
2. Create psychological safety for those experiencing personal and professional challenges 3. Apply specific tools and skills to cultivate resilience and avoid burnout
