"Personality and Your Project"

2 PDUs (1.5 Leadership, 0.5 Strategic and Business Management)

As a PM have you ever wondered why you get some of the responses you get from different people? Why it is that you get different results from presenting the exact same information in the same manner to two different people? It seems that people are “wired” differently. everyone has preferred methods of communicating. Some want you, as the PM, to just get to the point, preferably in a bulleted list. Others want you to provide background and details on how you came to the conclusions you did. Understanding the different personality profiles in your projects and adjusting your communication to best meet and approach these individuals can help you achieve success as a project manager. So how do you get started? What are some rules of thumb to approaching this in a way that does not come off as manipulative to your stakeholders? Come explore personality profiling and how knowing personality traits can help you to quickly and efficiently communicate to your stakeholders in a manner that will benefit your projects.
