Call for Nominations for 2019 PMI-MCAC Special Election

Nominations Have Been Extended through November 1, 2019

PMI-MCAC has initiated a special election for open 2020-2021 Vice President (VP) positions. Vice Presidents maintain a cross-functional strategic focus while providing leadership of their respective Directors and committees.

Each elected 2020 VP will serve from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. The 2-year VP term enables better acclimation to board operations, as well as increased opportunity to realize the VP's vision in support of the PMI-MCAC's strategic plan. The annual board transition meeting will also assist newly elected VPs with lessons-learned and other valuable information as they prepare for their term.

November 18, 2018 Special election announced at 2018 PDD.
August 30, 2019 Eligibility requirements and role responsibilities posted to the chapter website.
September 1, 2019 Call for nominations emailed to members.
Mid-September Postcard mailed (U.S. Mail) to members reminding them of "Call for Nominations" and close of nominations on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Extended to November 1, 2019
September 27, 2019 Email to members re "Last Call for Nominations - Deadline = 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019" Extended to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019
November 1, 2019 Nominations due by 11:59 p.m. 
November 4, 2019 Voting opens (via survey being sent out to members)
November 13, 2019 Reminder email to members re one week left to vote for new officers 
November 18, 2019 Voting closes at 11:59 p.m.
November 19, 2019 Nomination Committee submits election results to MCAC Board via email.
November 19, 2019 MCAC Board announces election results to membership
November 20, 2019 New officers announced at 2019 PDD (and introduced to attendees if new officer is present at PDD).
December 5, 2019 Officer transition at Board meeting.
January 1, 2020 New Board Member term begins.
