“Strategies for the New PMP” 

PMBOK® Guide 6.0 is changing: getting bigger, better and leaner more agile definitely!! How does it translate into project management processes and concepts?  Why is it important for you as a PM to know and be aware of the changes?

Gabrielle B Haskins PMP,  CEO, and IT Enterprise IT Portfolio Manager for Project Executive LLC
Gabrielle is a professional business management consultant, with extensive global experience for large and small corporation in many industries, as well as Federal and State agencies.  She was teaching the entire Master Certificate in Project Management and PMIT for ESI and George Washington University for 8 years.  She has authored the ONC-Health Information Technology National Project Management and working in Healthcare team components of Curriculum in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing team in 2012. She is also a reviewer of the PMBOK V6.0 and OPM-2017  for . She is now the President and CEO of the Michigan Capital Area Chapter of PMI in Lansing, Michigan.

In her 20+ years of IT experience, Mei has led teams on upgrades, systems integration and new system development projects in the health insurance and consumer goods industries.  She is responsible for business analysis, software quality assurance test automation and IT leadership in enterprise projects in her current role.  She has presented at the Agile and Beyond conference, facilitated agile coaching retreats, and conducted workshops as a 4-year steering committee member for the mid-Michigan Agile Group.
