PMP Prep Study Group
Wednesday Evenings - in person or via Skype
August 1, 8, 15 and 22

The study group will be offered from 6-8 p.m. on August 1, 8, 15 and 22. Be sure to register for each session you plan to attend.

This study group meets regularly to help project managers get ready for the PMBOK® Guide V 6.0 Exam which changed on March 26, 2018!  It will focus on final review of terminology, concepts, areas of strength and questions, questions, and more questions!  

Those who attended our PMP Bootcamp in January used the study group to get ready for their exams.  Two of them attendees have already received their PMP certifications!  Prepare before the next PMP Bootcamp in October.


PMI-MCAC Golf Outing

  • Meet other chapter members. Partner with friends or be assigned to a foursome.
  • All golfers will receive a gift bag. 
  • Play 9 holes or 18 holes.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch and nonalcoholic refreshments. These are included in the registration fee. 
  • Take a dip in the Country Club's swimming pool. $20 per adult; kids are free. A lifeguard will be on duty. 
  • Practice your swing on the driving range which will be open prior to the game. 
  • Shop for golf apparel and accessories. The Pro Shop will be offering Country Club member pricing to registrants. 
  • Improve your game. Lessons will be available from golf professionals. Only $20 per participant for a 30 minute lesson or $30 for 1 hour session. Limited to no more than 6 participants per instructor. 
  • In the event of rain, golfers will have  access to the swing simulator located in the Club's basement.


Lunch and Learn - Project Power Hour
August 22
Limited to the first 15 registrants. Register early!

Bring your own lunch and munch.  This roundtable provides a forum to share information around project topics of interest. Come learn from your peers, build facilitation skills, expand your professional network and build a peer group of resources you can turn to with questions.  This roundtable will also provide a good mentoring opportunity for those who are seeking certification, growing their career or just want to give back. 

Facilitated session that may include member-driven topics like:

  • Build a group agenda on demand, Lean Coffee-style
  • Project Management Toolbox – Lightning Talks for members by members in an hour
  • Speed Mentoring

Note: The presentation will be held from 12 - 1 PM. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.
